The area around the Torridge
Estuary has been designated as a Biosphere Reserve
and the whole coastline is an AONB. The first link

There is a wide variety of accommodation available depending on whether you are on your own or staying with your family. If you wish to stay in the village the most convenient is right next door at 2 Harton Manor. This is a friendly and relaxed B & B, where Merlyn offers VERY special rates to our students. Short courses: single/twin room £26pppn, double ensuite £30pppn. Long term lodgings for 12 week students: single/twin room £150 per week, double £180 per week. Three miles away is Hartland Quay Hotel 01237 441218, right on the dramatic coastline. You need to have transport to stay here, it is about 8 minutes journey time and there are no taxis. Costs are £40 pppn and £265 for 7 nights.

Camping
